Spring Bird Walk Season Underway
As winter is winding down (we hope!), we're excited to schedule our spring bird walks to look for wintering ducks before they leave, migrants heading north, and arriving summer residents.
Here is the current spring bird walk schedule:
• Wolf Lake/William Powers SRA - Saturday, March 28
• Little Red Schoolhouse - Saturday, April 11
• Monee Reservoir - Saturday, April 18
• Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve - Saturday, May 2
• Plum Creek Meadow (Cook County) - Sunday, May 3
• Helmick Nature Preserve - Sunday, May 10
