• Finding birds, including use of binoculars for children and hearing birds. Find the bird in the tree and ID the bird’s call.

• Understanding birds, especially the unique properties of eggs; paint an egg.

• Protecting birds, aimed at preventing window strikes; design a bird-safe window.

For OAKtoberfest, the Village of Flossmoor is offering a full day of celebrating nature, trees, and community spirit with activities for all ages. The event includes a tree walk, nature crafts, rock wall climbing, food vendors, and more. Full Event Schedule > Flossmoor OAKtoberfest
